Our consultancy service is aimed to fulfil your needs by providing any number of onsite days, which can be used in supporting the management of the network, advice on further developing and expanding your network and
management of Strategic and Operational network changes.
The number of onsite days required can be defined by the school, although a recommended level will be suggested by us after a full evaluation of your network has been taken.
Our products provide an affordable piece of mind for schools that find traditional telephone support methods no longer appropriate, or that fully managed solutions are prohibitively expensive.
We cater for many varied networks but also supply our own network solution, NetworksIT. PJA Systems can support RM Connect 2.x,RM Community Connect 3.x, RM Community Connect 4.x as well as Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 server systems, Peer to Peer networks, including RM Window box, and school share. We also support standalone computers running Microsoft Windows XP and above.

(This is school applications, not major updates to the network e.g Operating Systems, Anti Virus, re-building or commissioning more than 10 computers per visit.) -

Ensuring provision of an adequate Backup Solution

Server Integrity checks including regular diagnostic checking of server event logs, disk space maintenance and essential Microsoft software and security updates.

Monitoring of servers for load balance and best use of operating power whereby appropriate changes will be made where necessary

Support for onsite e-mail server solutions.

Troubleshooting and resolution of computer/network peripheral issues

Advice and support of Intranet solutions

The above tasks will be performed during regular Consultancy days. With regard to Antivirus solutions, if a PJA recommended product is purchased then reasonable endeavours will be made to ensure that any updates or checks are made or installed. Backup logs will also be regularly checked by PJA during Consultancy visits, to ensure that an up to date backup of your ICT solution is available. It remains the responsibility of the establishment's named contacts to ensure that the daily backup logs are checked and any problems reported immediately.
Consultancy visits are included below and such days can be tailored to the school's requirements. There is also an option of a per term or yearly contract, that would be at a lower price and would include either a day/half day visit per week during term time. This would guarantee the school network/machines to be well looked after for one academic year.

Telephone support includes remote solutions to your network problems, except with telephone only support. All prices are quoted for a single server network, an additional cost could be added for extra servers and complexity of your network.
